Key Objectives

  • Develop and implement digital experiences for Liferay Portal.
  • Architect and develop reusable Front End components that can be leveraged by different team members;

  • Communicate with stakeholders and other Front End Engineers to improve requirements and perfectly implement the Mockups given by the Design team and try to find the best solutions for our customers;

  • Working in a cross-functional team, and collaborating with other departments (Design, Project Management and Product Management) to bring great interactions to life

  • Participate in peer review processes, growing along with your teammates. Suggest improvements and be humble enough to accept suggestions. Everyone learns from everyone, no matter how brilliant you are.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Experience with Front End development;
  • Solid knowledge of JavaScript;

  • Solid knowledge of basic language concepts and new patterns;

  • Passion for Front End technologies;

  • Knowledge of the latest trends and frameworks in web development: Angular, React,  Web Components, Progressive Web Apps;

  • Knowledge of data structures;

  • Proficiency in Unix operating systems (command line);

  • Great knowledge about the Front End ecosystem and tools

  • Desirable knowledge of JavaScript typing systems (eg Typescript, Flow).

  • Good knowledge in HTML 5 and CSS 3;

  • Proficiency with Git and collaborative workflows (PRs, rebases, code reviews).

  • General knowledge of performance, accessibility and security for Web and development tools (eg debugger, audits);

  • Proficiency in technical English. Being able to discuss a feature or bug in English, in addition to writing and reading technical documentation;l

  • Reside or be willing to move to Recife to work o-site;

  • Be proactive, motivated and learn fast.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong experience in Web development
  • Experience with Playwright

  • Experience with Liferay DXP 7.x

  • Knowledge of Docker and containerized development.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
